Our delightful riverside studio is a fascinating treasure trove of antique textiles dating from the Victorian era to the 1950's.

Beautiful handstitched quilts, coverlets, fine linens, pretty fabrics, unique soft furnishings, needlework trimmings and accessories fill our shelves from floor to ceiling. We are constantly adding to our stock through our never ending quest for pretty quilts, fabrics and accessories to use in the creation of our Regina Rose Original Collection as well as to offer for sale through our 'Antique Textiles' section.

We sincerely believe in treating all our clients with the upmost honesty and respect and are totally dedicated to complete customer satisfaction. Every 'Regina Rose Original' creation carries its own personally signed label which reinforces the principles of our policy!

You will be delighted by our range of pretty creations which includes bags, cushion covers, clothes hangers, lavender and rose petal sachets, lampshades, baskets, needlework accessories and other delightful decorative items to give your home that air of romance and charm that only vintage fabrics can!

We take great personal pride in our work and use only antique quilts and fabrics for our creations. Threads, lace and bindings are also of vintage origin! Contemporary trimmings are only used when there is not a suitable vintage equivalent.

Please be assured - we never use modern reproduction fabrics as this would remove the opportunity to say to our customers "Your item is totally unique!"

All our fabrics are genuine vintage or antique items that are at least 50 years old! Durham quilts are the major source of our quilt fabrics but we also use quilts from specific areas eg, Allendale, Weardale and Cumbria. Scottish 'Cosy Comforts' or 'Scottish Comfys' as many people refer to them, are the main source of machine stitched quilt fabrics.

Due to the continuing decline in the availability of these vintage textiles, the majority of our creations are either limited editions or totally unique!

Old Treasures
Only perfect sections of fabrics from quilts which are 'past their best' and have 'seen better days' are used in the creation of our delightful decorative items. We never utilise a quilt that is still in good usable condition because we have the greatest admiration and respect for the highly skilled, hardworking patchworkers and quilters of long ago, for whom these charming hand made quilts were ... a labour of love!

Transforming these 'old treasures' and 'cast offs' into beautiful decorative items, is also for us ... a labour of love! ... and we certainly do love it!

We only wish those original quilters of years gone by, could see how their 'worn out' creations are now being lovingly restored and given a new lease of life as pretty and practical items which are greatly admired and appreciated by our many discerning buyers from both home and overseas, who return time after time for more...
